Timing&Action

Timing:

1. go over the scenes mentally as many time as i can
2. go over it mentally with a stop watch
3. add up the time of all scenes to get a sum-up length
4. change if too long or too short

Remember: the audience come fresh to the film! they see the film once only!

Action:
character has to be moved around by the action of forces on it.
PLUS time for the mental operation of the character.thinking his way through his actions, making decisions, finally moving his body under the influence of his own will power and muscle.
PLUS his influence on surrounding inaimate object.

The pig: he's drunk. Firstly, his mental operation is disturbed by alchole (mud). Then this disturbed mental makes decisions for the boby which is influenced by the alchole at the same time. apart from hiself, there is another force created to influence his actions.

When he moves, he also affects his surroundings. the space (muddy) is stirred, pulled, blowed by his movement/wind created. this is a good idea for 2nd animation.
