PitchChecklist-FromDan

Doing Presentation PowerPoint at the moment.

LO1: A comprehensive understanding of the processes, techniques and working methods involved.

LO2: Delineate the target market for an animation product.

LO3: Generate ideas through concept work.

LO4: Pitch and present ideas confidently to a high standard.

LO5: Planning and schedule of an animation project.

1. A brief description/premise made by the director to remind everyone of the film again or to see if any changes have be made to the original pitch.

2. Early concept work through to finished designs including:
i. Character model sheets.
ii. Character studies
iii. Environmental designs of both interiors and exteriors if both are applicable to your film.
iv. Mood boards and colour scripts.
v. Rough/clean up storyboards

3. A working animatic demonstrating; timing, filmic language and sound. This should show your understanding of the timing of each shot and how effectively it flows as a story, together with, simple and effective filmic language for all three acts to work as a whole. As for the sound, we are not expecting final recordings, just some basic sounds to help support the visauls in the animatic.

4. Everyone needs to participate in the presentation.

5. Anything else of a high standard to support your pitch
